The International Conference on Energy Storage Technology and Applications (ICESTA-2021) is organized by Centre of Excellence for Electrical Energy Storage Technology, Universitas Sebelas Maret, which will be held virtually on 27th October 2021. The conference’s theme is entitled “Energy Storage for Better Environment and Society”.
As part of the increasing of global energy demand, there is growing interest in developing renewable energy technologies. Renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, have great potential to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. However, renewable energy has uncertain output, so it requires energy storages to mitigate power variations, store and dispatch renewable energy. Therefore, energy storage is expected to contribute to creating a cleaner environment and healthier society.
ICESTA-2021 provides a platform for all participants to discuss specific areas, such as the latest developments and applications in the fields related to energy storages. Furthermore, this meeting is expected to strengthen international networking between Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and other universities or institution in the world.
The conference topics are (but not limited):
Materials for Energy Storages,
Basic Electrochemistry,
Batteries, Supercapacitor, Fuel-cell, Electrocatalytic Reaction, Energy Storage Devices,
Battery Integration System, Battery Management System, Grid System, Charging System,
Simulation, Modelling and Computer Programming in Energy Storage, Management, Supply Chain in Energy Storage.
